Forget interference, what happened to the post 911 worry about Bad people using cell phones to communicate with each other, or people on the ground...during take off or landing? This was a real issue.

In the 'old days the point of a cancellation fee was to reimburse the retailer for taking an item off the shelf and putting it on a shelf in the back room...a potential lost sale. Layaway is actually a pretty decent idea, but it should be available all year round, not just in the Fall.

In reply to: Kryss #1.2 Sorry to sound like a troll...but along with the reasons you've cited there's one more. Try doing a search on the words "Bush arsenic". Obama tried to roll those changes back to 90s levels but was unable to.

The volume of water that reaches US waters might be too diluted to cause alarm. But what about the lower levels of the food chain this plume crossed on the way over? We already have borderline mercury and arsenic in the larger fish, what sort of accumulation of cesium should we expect?
